Hi everyone! This is my first post and I want to introduce you all to my dog Gizmo. (yeap...like the movie) I just bought Gizmo and training is going well. We are having some trouble with rolling over, but I think we'll get through it. The purpose for this blog is to inform everyone of the truth about dog food. When I started looking into brands I was dumbfounded by all of the different types of dog food. What main ingredient do I look for, Who makes the best puppy brand, What shouldn't be in a good dog food, etc. After bringing up this topic with Gizmo's Vet; I was shocked at what he had to tell me. He recommended that I make Gizmo his own meals. He said he had read a recent article that linked earlier doggie deaths to commercialized foods. Naturally, I wanted to do some research myself. OMG! I still can't believe some of the stuff I learned.
